United Muslim Aid is a non-profit organization. It was set up in 2021 with the vision of “Let’s unite for Humanity ”. It works in the areas of Education, Skills, and Health. UMA is a platform that has been created with the thought of bringing different Ngo’s together for the welfare of the society it includes NGO’S as follow, Aagaz, AMP, Ehsaas, HHF, Jannat, Koshish, MEWS, MSSP, MSS, Needs, Parcham, The Khidmat, Team IBM, Team MEEM, SIO & Who is Hussain.
UMA started working with the covid help desk which included the tasks of providing the information to the people regarding the availability of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders, plasma & blood donors, distribution of food packets to the attendants outside RUHS & ration packets distribution to the needy.
At present, the organization is working in three main areas of Health, Education and skill development. UMA is putting all its efforts into providing better health services, quality education, skill enhancement and employment to the public.
Among the young adults, only 5 % of the population is recognized as formally skilled and the unemployment rate in Rajasthan is nearly 28% which makes it the second-largest state in terms of unemployment therefore United Muslim aid aims to impart skill development training to the needy students along with this we also provide them career counselling free of cost and provide them employment which is best suited for them free of cost.
Talking about healthcare, nearly 27% of people die without proper ambulance facilities most of the people cannot afford to avail the ambulance facilities and government hospital ambulances most of the time causes delays due to busy schedule and are also unable to access in the walled area of the city due to narrow streets and lanes. Keeping all this in mind United Muslim aid has started its ambulances project where at the initial stage we will be operating 2 ambulances in the Jaipur city free of cost for the community
UMA also have its hand in the education field where we promote quality education at a very low cost. We create awareness among the backward peoples regarding the benefits of education and the same we also provide books and counselling service to the needy students free of cost, additionally we work for the promotion of education of girls.
